Hello! I'm Elizabeth. Where should I begin? Well, my journey into this world was short of being perfect. I was stuck for over four hours before force took action. I was my mom's fourth baby and second V-back in a German hospital where all the doctors had been sent off to the Bosnian War. Growing up, I heard the horrors of this story and hoped for a better outcome for my own story. Fast forward through years of extreme sports, broken bones, surgeries, and concussions, to my labor and delivery with my first baby. I was convinced I had read every book, and prepared my body and mind as best I could to experience the most peaceful home birth possible. However, it wasn't enough. I still had an extremely difficult labor, to the point my mom said she'd never complain about her experience again (lol). While preparing for my new baby, I learned that if I breastfed I would be the first woman in four generations to do so! This worried me at first, but fueled my desire to be successful and change this pattern for the better. Through conversations with good friends who had been down difficult breastfeeding journeys with their own kids, I was pointed to great lactation support and fascia workers. I had never heard of fascia before but quickly saw the miracle it was for my little 11 hour old NICU baby. After over an hour of gentle unwinding, she was placed back into my arms and melted. My daughters cone head was gone, the swelling in her face went down so she could open her eyes, her stomach was no longer hard, she was truly comfortable in her body. I attribute CST and CFT to helping my baby truly thrive!
